Biosecurity workshop a success

The workshop on biosecurity in synthetic biology, organized by IASB on April 3, 2008, has been hugely successful. The workshop focused very specifically on immediately addressable improvements in biosecurity within the industry, and participants from industry and academia agreed on a number of work packages.

IASB is currently in the process of creating an official report and press statements. These documents will be published on the IASB web site as soon as possible.
